Psalm 1:2 his delight is in the law of YHWH and in his law does he meditate day and night. Psalm 37:4 Delight thyself in YHWH and he shall give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 40:8 I delight to do thy will… Psalm 112:1 Blessed is the man who fears Yahweh and delights greatly in his commandments. Psalm 119:16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget your word / commandments. Psalm 119:35 Make me go in the path of thy commandments; for therein I delight. Psalm 119:47 And I delight myself in thy commandments; which I loved. Matthew 5:17-19 think not that I came to destroy the law or the prophets. I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill… Romans 7:22 For I delight in the law of YHWH after the inner man. John 15:7 If you abide in me and my word/commandments abide in you, you shall ask whatever you wish and it will be granted. John 14:23 Anyone who loves me will obey my commandments… The blessed man is he who delights greatly in his commandments. When you live a lifestyle of delighting greatly in Yahweh’s commandments, you delight greatly in the Sabbath, you delight greatly in YHWH’S name, loving to speak it, worship his name, when you delight greatly in giving, forgiving, loving, being kind and gracious, being set apart, having no gods/idols before him, keeping his feasts even when you don’t fully understand them. Then you are blessed and the blessing of YHWH will make you rich. Then joy and peace will flow, then you will be living life from the secret place of the most high were no evil can come near you. This is a work of his Spirit in the inner man, it’s not something that the intellect or the mind or the flesh can do. Obeying YHWH’S laws and commandments are your passion, your hearts desire, not that your perfect but YHWH and his laws and commandments are your delight. You repent every time you fail quickly once you realize you broke his laws and commandments and grieved his heart. His grace and forgiveness are available to anyone who calls upon his name and repents. But we still love to delight in him and in his word and in his laws and commandments. If we understood just how much blessing and favor YHWH has for his people that follow and desire to know and obey his laws and commandments you would run to his Torah in faith. He knows we will not keep it perfectly but he blesses us as if we did, all because Yahshua kept it perfectly, that’s grace. But if we dishonor him, dishonor his Torah, reject it, think it’s unimportant or no longer neccessary or needed we reject YHWH and the work of his Son because you cannot separate YHWH from his word/commandments/TORAH. If we willfully disobey his commandments that’s rebellion and that will seperate you from YHWH no matter what anyone says, trust and believe scriptures not a perversion of scriptures that tickles your ears that we all have heard for years, they are deceived as we once were. Don’t follow another gospel, follow the gospel that YHWH, Yahshua, the 1st disciples preached. They all followed and obeyed Torah thru the grace and power of Yahshua’s name! And by the power of his Spirit! Anything or anyone that says you don’t need to obey or delight in his word is another gospel. We do it because it’s in our hearts not because we have to. It’s our delight and passion because we love YHWH and Yahshua and the commandments. Yahshua said if you love me keep my commandments so if you don’t love him you won’t! Let’s all love him and receive his commandments and follow him and them, Shalom!
